Hudson has been developing new residential buildings in New York City for over 24 years. Our record of success reflects a commitment to managing the details of development and we are experienced in both new construction and building rehabilitation. We have successfully completed a broad array of complex and exciting buildings: conversion of a printing factory at 345 West 13th Street in the Gansevoort Market neighborhood into luxury loft condominiums; a new 26-story dormitory for NYU near Union Square; The Marais – a 126 unit coop adjacent to the High Line in West Chelsea; as well as a number of market rental buildings in Manhattan including The Hudson East on E 6th St, The Crossroads on E Broadway and The Clinton on W 48th Street. In partnership with The Related Companies, Hudson is completing its sixth of a planned nine residential buildings on Roosevelt Island. Riverwalk has reinvigorated Roosevelt Island with new recreational and retail activity in addition to adding a mix of new rental and ownership apartment units. In Brooklyn, Hudson has developed the 32-story J Condo in Dumbo and the condominiums at Third + Bond in Carroll Gardens that are also currently being marketed. Other current projects include the conversion of Cobble Hill Towers, and planning for the 770 unit Gowanus Green on a site adjacent to the Gowanus Canal.
